Instructions for abstract submission:
1. Abstract should be written in one of official languages in B-H and in English.
2. Abstract should be written on the abstract form that can be downloaded here :
3. Please submit your abstract in MS Word document attached to the e-mail to: abstract@upubih.com
4. Abstract should not exceed 250 words without title and authors. The use of tables and figures is not allowed.
5. Write Abstracts in MS Word, font type Times New Roman, size:12 pt, line spacing 1.5.
6. Title should be written in block letters, CAPS, bold, 12 pt, Times New Roman.
7. Write full family name, and given name and affiliation of the author and all co-authors. Underline the name of the presenting author and provide contact details for the corresponding author if different.
8. Abstract should include: introduction, aim, methods, results and conclusions. (In “Case reports” give short case description).
9. Write up to 4 keywords.
10. Standard abbreviations should be used. For new abbreviations use the parentheses after the first use of the term.
11. Original abstracts will not be edited. Linguistic and grammatic accuracy are the sole responsibility of the author(s). Abstract text will be published as submitted.
12. Abstracts submitted by fax will not be considered.
13. Abstract(s) will be allocated to poster or oral presentation by the Scientific Committee.
14. If submission by email is not possible, please send the abstract on the CD-ROM by regular mail to the Congress Secretariat address.
Deadline for abstract`s submission is of July 31st 2012. Abstract/s submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.
Notification of acceptance or rejection of abstract/s by the Scientific Committee will be posted on the Congress website of August 15th, 2012 and will be sent by electronic mail to corresponding author until of August 31st 2012.
ORAL PRESENTATIONS: :
Invited speakers: 15 minutes and 5 minutes for discussion.
Oral presentations: 7 minutes and 3 minutes of discussion.
All oral presentations in hall A will be followed by bilingual (BH official languages and English) Power Point presentations.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT: Laptop and LCD projectors for oral presentations will be available. Participants who have oral presentations are kindly asked to provide electronic version of their presentation the day before, or at least two hours before the session, to the personnel in charge of technical support.
POSTERS:
The dimensions of the poster should not exceed 90 cm width x 120 cm height. Posters should be written in one of official languages of Bosnia and Herzegovina or in English. If the poster is not in English, author(s) must include the Abstract in English in their poster. Keep all elements of your poster (tables, drawings, graphs, sketches and photos) readable, clear and simple. Author/s are obliged to stand near their poster during the Poster Tour Session. Removal of posters will be possible after the completion of the Poster Tour Session. The posters that have not been timely removed by the author(s) will be removed by the technical personnel. Those posters will not be stored and/or sent to the author(s).
