Michaela Amering
Michaela Amering is a Professor of Psychiatry at the Medical University of Vienna, Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, with a focus of interest on psychosis, and the development of the families` and the users` movements. Her experience also includes work in community psychiatry and research in the UK and USA. She is currently chairing the WPA Section on ‘Public Policy and Psychiatry’; she serves as secretary of the EPA Section on ‘Womens’ Mental Health’ and is an executive board member of the World Association of Social Psychiatry.
