Neuropsychiatrist, psychotherapist, professor of psychiatry at the School of Medicine, University of Belgrade, Serbia, and corresponding member of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts. She is Head of Department of Psychiatry at the School of Medicine, Director of the Institute of Mental Health in Belgrade and Head of WHO Collaborating Centre as well as the WHO national counterpart for mental health. As Chair of the National Committee for Mental Health she is involved in the reform of mental health care in the country. Prof. Lecic-Tosevski is International Associate of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, International Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, WPA honorary member, immediate past president of the Psychiatric Association of Eastern Europe and the Balkans and president-elect of the Serbian Psychiatric Association. Research interests of prof. Lecic Tosevski are personality disorders, stress, PTSD, affective disorders and comorbidity.
